The purpose of the Real Estate Broker is to educate the prospective buyer of the market inventory, conditions, property attributes, and problems. After the buyer has identified their property, the Broker develops a contract that accomplishes the buyer's goals, negotiates on their behalf, assures them of a thorough evaluation, and gains the most favorable financing. Knowledge of the market, properties, contracts, and financing are basic to accomplishing these goals.

Becoming a Real Estate Broker in the early 1980s was a natural next step for me. My educational background of accounting, economics, and Graduate School at U.C Berkeley in City Planning gave me the underlying concepts. My hobbies of gardening, weather, backpacking, winemaking, and renovation of old buildings continually add to my knowledge of the many intricacies of Real Estate. I love the intricacies of each property and feel equally comfortable exploring coastal ranches, a village Victorian, or examining the balance sheet of a business. Real Estate is my only occupation.

As a Mendocino Village resident of over 20 years I gained a depth of knowledge and love for the area that I share with enthusiasm. One of my particular passions is the Bed & Breakfast industry. This one business lies at the center of all my interests and education. That passion is responsible for my listing and selling 90 percent of all the inns sold on the Coast since my entry into the field in 1982. As a member of the Professional Association of Bed & Breakfast Innkeepers, I keep professional ties with the latest industry trends.
