Built by John and Dora Dennen in 1877 as their family home, Dennen's Victorian Farmhouse continues to be timeless and true to their New England roots. Ideally located just two miles south of Mendocino Village, the 1.64 acre property includes the Main House, the Carriage House Building, the Barn Building and Quail Cottage. The home has been lovingly maintained and restored to its original footprint keeping its unique architectural elements.
The Inn is comprised of ten individually decorated guestrooms (among four buildings), each with its own charm and appeal. The grounds which include the gardens, redwood and cypress trees, creek and orchard are home to countless creatures, among them swallows, heron, hawk, deer and quail. A mere five-minute walk leads to beach access, tide pools and a secluded cove. Just north along Highway One explore nearby Van Damme State Park. This serene location is convenient to local services and all of the many recreation and cultural opportunities of Mendocino. |
